01 — The Atelier
A studio of one.
Standards of a house.
Bent Codes is a single-craftsman practice. No account layers, no offshore hand-offs, no template purchased on a marketplace and re-skinned. You speak to the person writing the code, and that person has spent seven years learning where the seams show.
The name is literal. Code gets bent — folded around a brand until the interface stops feeling like software and starts feeling like material. Glass, brass, weight, friction.

01 · Immersion
Two weeks inside the brand. Competitor teardown, audience interviews, archive review, and a written point of view on what the site must do before a single frame is drawn.
02 · Art Direction
Palette, typography, materiality and motion language, presented as one considered direction rather than three safe options. Revisions refine the direction; they do not restart it.
03 · Composition
Full page design across desktop, tablet and phone, with real copy, real imagery and every state accounted for — hover, focus, empty, loading, error.
04 · Engineering
Hand-written front end, token-driven CSS, choreographed motion, accessibility passes at AA, and performance budgets enforced before anything ships.
05 · Custody
Launch, monitoring, and a quarterly refinement rhythm. A site is a living object; it is maintained like one.
